Spring has definitely sprung at QP. Fabrics are arriving daily and we are getting into Spring Fever mode. The doors are open to let in fresh air and to smell the blooms of our wonderful Spring. We know soon the warm (HOT) weather will be upon us, so open those windows and enjoy our very brief spring here in Central California.
With the new energy of Spring it makes us think of bike riding, gardening and time with our families. New classes are always a great way to get your creative juices going and we have some wonderful classes to offer you in this Summer newsletter.
We are so excited that Marie is back teaching at QP. Handwork is all the rage now and we at QP love this.
Barbara W. is teaching embroidery with a twist that is called Boho Embroidery. Layer up fabric motifs and simple stitches to create an original piece of hoop art.
Nancy is back with a new Club that is a quilt using many different forms of quilting techniques. Come and enjoy a quiet Sunday with Nancy and her knowledge of quilting.
We have a new employee/teacher, Cindy. She is like the energizer bunny, working at a full-time job during the week and spending her weekends at QP. Stop by to welcome her and check out her class with a twist on the Biscuit technique. It is one that will be cute to make. The pattern is from a magazine, which contains additional Mini projects.
Thank you so much for making QP a destination not just for quilters, but for anyone that loves fabric, sewing and friendships.
Barbara, Kathy and the Amazing QP Staff
